- Visit with clients in their healthcare setting to ensure individualized, quality, compassionate, person-centered care is happening while advocat

As a Healthcare Advocate, I can:
- Visit with clients in their healthcare setting to ensure individualized, quality, compassionate, person-centered care is happening while advocating for those needs going unmet.
- Offer weekly (or more) in person visits with client to determine if his or her needs are being met (this is often requested by family members who live far away from their loved one but want to ensure their loved one's care team is providing quality care through frequent in person check ins).
- Meet with clients' medical team and advocate on behalf of the client when families are unable to due to distance or circumstances.
- Assist with solving conflicts or crisis situations with families and healthcare professionals.

As an End-of-Life Doula, I can help with the following:
- Provide opportunities to speak openly and honestly about dying
- Explore the meaning of death in conjunction with the person’s life and legacy
- Bring a compassionate and intuitive presence to the bedside
- Develop a plan for how the space looks, feels and sounds for the loved one at the end
As an End-of-Life Doula, I can help with the following:
- Provide opportunities to speak openly and honestly about dying
- Explore the meaning of death in conjunction with the person’s life and legacy
- Bring a compassionate and intuitive presence to the bedside
- Develop a plan for how the space looks, feels and sounds for the loved one at the end of their life
- Incorporate traditions or create new rituals to mark special moments for the dying and their loved ones
- Encourage appropriate ways of touching and caressing the dying person
- Assist with physical and practical care needs to ease the burden on caregivers, including offering respite services
- Explain the process of dying, including expected signs and symptoms of dying
- Process the emotions and experiences with loved ones
- Support spiritual needs as approaching the end of life
- Guide others through the grieving process
